Refund policy
Introduction
DEPSTECH provides a straightforward warranty that is processed in the most hassle-free way possible. This limited warranty provided by the manufacturer in no way affects a potential statutory warranty provided by law.
The following terms and conditions apply only to orders made on the official website (www.depstech.com).
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Undamaged products may be returned for a full refund for any reason within 30 days of the date the item was delivered to the designated shipping address. Returns may be rejected if the product does not meet the below requirements:
- Returns must include all accessories
- Items must include original packaging
- Tips. tax and shipping fees are not returnable
*Due to logistics and handling costs, buyers are responsible for the shipping fees for non-quality related returns. For orders that include free shipping, DEPSTECH will deduct the shipping costs from the original shipping fee before issuing a refund for the remaining amount
Refund requests for the 30-day money-back guarantee expire 30 days after opening a warranty claim. It is not possible to process a request for a refund for non-quality issues for items after this 30-day window has elapsed.
24-Month Product Warranty
DEPSTECH guarantees that the products purchased through the official Amazon store and this website in the region of purchase will be without defects in workmanship and material. The warranty can be extended to 24 months by registering on the website after receiving the item within 7 days. Warranty is valid only for products operated in the country where the product was purchased. To claim this warranty, the customer must provide proof of purchase.
Not Covered Under Warranty
- Products without sufficient proof of purchase
- Lost or stolen products
- Items that have expired their warranty period
- Non-quality-related issues (after 30 days of purchase)
- Free products
- Repairs through 3rd parties
- Damage from outside sources
- Damage from misuse of products (including, but not limited to: falls, extreme temperatures, water, and operating devices improperly)
- Purchases from illegitimate resource
Warranty Claims for Quality-Related Issues
All quality-related defects on items sold directly by DEPSTECH are covered by a 24-month warranty, starting from the date of purchase. For quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with a factory refurbished model of equal or greater value when available, otherwise, a new item will be sent. Warranties on all replacements follow the same warranty timeframe of the original defective item, or 3 months after being replaced, whichever is longer. Warranties on products are void after having been refunded.
Process
- Initiate a warranty request: Contacts DEPSTECH first to initiate a warranty request for the purchased item
- Provide details: Provides sufficient proof of purchase (order number, sales invoice, or dated sales receipt), and the defective itemâs serial number and/or visible proof depicting the defect
- Authorization and instructions: DEPSTECH authorizes the warranty request and provides instructions for returning the item, including any required packaging and shipping instructions
- Shipping and tracking: The customer ships the item back to DEPSTECH, using a shipping method that includes tracking to ensure that the item is delivered to DEPSTECH
- Inspection: DEPSTECH inspects the returned item to verify that it is defective and eligible for a warranty
- Replacement: If the returned item meets DEPSTECH's warranty policy criteria, DEPSTECH will send the customer a new item, or issue a refund to the customer via the original payment method
- Confirmation: The customer confirms the replacement or the refund has been received, and the return process is complete
*Warranty claims for product defects expire 90 days after opening a warranty claim. It is not possible to process a warranty claim for items that are no longer within their original warranty timeframe or the 90-day warranty claim request period, whichever is longer.
Refunds
- For products that are returned in accordance with this return policy, refunds will be processed within 7 days after we receive your return package. The refund will be issued to the original payment method. Unfortunately, due to transportation delays, your refund may require an additional 3-5 days to process. Thank you for your patience and understanding
- The original shipping fee is non-refundable
Shipping costs must be covered by the buyer in the following situations
- Returning products for any reason other than a proven defect
- Warranty claims on items taken outside the original country of purchase
- Buyerâs accidental returns
- Returning personal items
- Returning items claimed to have defects but were found by DEPSTECH quality control to be in working condition
- Returning defective items using international shipping
- Costs associated with unauthorized returns (any returns made outside of the approved warranty process)
DEPSTECH is not liable for
- Loss of data incurred from the use of DEPSTECH products
- Returning personal items sent to DEPSTECH
When returning items with a prepaid shipping label provided by DEPSTECH, DEPSTECH takes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred in transit. When returning items for non-quality issues, the buyer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred in transit. DEPSTECH does not provide refunds for items damaged in transit for non-quality-related warranty claims.
